For the stage, she is adapting “Dangerous Beauty,” Margaret Rosenthal’s biography of Veronica Franco, an upper-class courtesan and published poet of 16th-century Venice, which was filmed with McBroom’s big-screen heartthrob Rufus Sewell and Jacqueline Bisset.
